Notably, she was voted chapter president of the Business Professionals of America Program for the 2019-2020 term, showcasing her leadership abilities and her peers' trust in her. Emily competed in the Business Professionals of America's 2020 Spring Leadership Conference, where she achieved remarkable success. She secured first place for the State of Oklahoma in both the "Ethics and Professionalism" and "Administrative Support Team" categories, demonstrating her exceptional skills and knowledge in these areas.

Emily's commitment to her field extends beyond her formal education. She is an active member of Tulsa Tech's Alumni Advisory Board, contributing her insights and expertise to support the development and success of future paralegal students.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Emily leads a fulfilling personal life. She is happily married and shares her home with two beloved dogs, whom she adores with all her heart. Known for her humor and playful nature, she jokingly admits to loving her dogs more than her husband, adding a touch of lightheartedness to her personality.
